I can play! Moebius '64 Nova SS....... *PIC*
That's a 327. You can tell by the valve covers. 283s have Chevrolet scripts on them. *NM*
Didn't know that. *NM*
from what I found the biggest engine in a 64 Nova was a 220hp 283 *NM*
I'm sure anyone can change valve covers if they want, but I think it's a 283. *NM*
What can I say. Those are the valve covers in the kit. *NM*
Yeah, those valve covers come with the kit. Moebius did not do a correct set of 283 covers since they were doing both the 64 & 65 gasser at the same time. While correct for the 65 Nova, the 64 would need a set of covers with the Chevrolet script on them. These can be had
Post away - we got time! The big Chrysler is the bomb, BTW
I've got hundreds in progress, but the ones I've been concentrating on recently are these (PICS)
This one's been fighting me. *PIC*

I’m restoring an AMT El Toro funny car from 1972 or so. I still had the body and engine but most of the rest is from Model King AMT Funny Hugger II re-release. *NM* *PIC*
Not sure if I'd call them "In Progress", but started in some cases probably before some of you were born. Anyway a couple of them that I have photos of. *PIC*
That Thomas Flyer is going to be great when you get it done! *NM*
I've been working on restoring 2 original issue Monogram Funny Cars from the early 1970's. They're very close to being finished. ............... *PICS* ........
Re: Monogram Funny Cars - I'm working on that same Snake car, as well as the Mongoose from the same two-car set. Been a few years, I really need to get back to 'em. As well as the other ones that I have started... But I seem to be stuck in the slump from hell... *NM*
Love everyone's work in progress... here is one of mine... pics
I should have this '63 Olds Starfire done this afternoon.
Understand need to finish, that cruiser is a tour de force! *NM*
