In Response To: It looks like the standard LO (Low-Observable) coating. It's just newly refinished. They all look that way before weathering and dirt take their toll. ()

And as far as the coating goes, I have it on good authority (a recently retired Air Force systems engineer) that the Air Force has been and still is exploring the use of reflective coatings as an anti laser defence.
