What kit might have an Auto trans to use in AMT's '67 GTO ? *NM*
The 1969 Hurst Olds has a TH400 auto in it. You'll have to cut it off of the back of the engine block though. *NM*
Thanks, I'll cut it off and cast it. *NM*
Pretty sure it's separate in the AMT/MPC kit. The Revell '72 probably has it attached to the engine block *NM*

Still separate, the engine block in those kits is very "Jo-Han" in design and execution *NM*
Isn't the transmission in the 4-4-2 W-30 a manual trans? *NM*
Yes, but the Hurst version has an automatic *NM*
Here's the instruction page from the Revell '69 Hurst Olds......SCAN INSIDE
Revells' Hurst Olds is a 1972. I was referring to the ertl/Round2/AMT 1969 Hurst Olds. And I was in fact wrong, the transmission in the 1969 is separate. ............... *PIC* .....
Oops! Sorry 'bout that. Thought the Revell '72 had the same transmission. *NM*
Aren't there more TH 400s out there as separate items? *NM*
Believe the amt 1970 Monte Carlo SS and amt 1966 Riviera GS have TH400 *NM*
