Terry, thanks for the reply but the problem is that the body was made from Cycolac a plastic developed by Borg Warner & thermoformed 2 sheets together by Gene Winfield who painted the candy yellow/bronze body - but what colour was the body inside?.....anyone? *NM*
I'd look up info on Cycolac plastic itself...bet the sheets were a standard color, maybe white. The inside probably had primer and paint overspray on it, over the plastic color *NM*
Cycolac can be any color. "Natural" is off-white semi-translucent. *NM*
I'd guess at white then. The "production" cars were probably formed in whatever color they were intended to be, to avoid painting *NM*

Thanks guys............from the various links and searches its still not really clear but it would seem that a rough guide/guess(?) will be an off white/greyish tint with various alloy pieces.........it will be close enough for what I do......lol......thanks again. *NM*
