- I just want to say I enjoy the military trucks that everyone posts.
- I recently picked up the MPC "Sod Buster" 1981 Chevy pickup. I was wanting to make a stock version out of it, and possibly 2WD. Are aftermarket steelies and dog dish caps available somewhere? Also, if I want to convert to 2WD... *PIC*
- Seems like a logical opportunity for the resin community or 3D - but nothing I'm aware of yet
- What about MPC 1980 Monto Caelo? Front clip. *NM*
- Maybe a later or older model chevy pickup 2wd? Or the MPC Dodge D-series pickup that's out. -----
- I'm not a truck guy but Fireball Modelworks has a LOT of resin truck stuff. Something he has just might work for you. *NM*
- The '81 C K trucks have IFS..seems to me you could use the IFS from the '64C10. Probably close enough. *NM*
- Didn't the middle-generation GM Vans use the same chassis as Squarebody?
- Just did some grokking online - some of the parts in the front suspension of the '70-95 "G" Van will interchange with the '73-87 Squarebody pickup, so if there's one in the stack, go for it.
- Why, yes they did,, front suspension at least. , , I have used AMT van front suspension under one of those MPC pickups before , , , [PICS] I just looked up the control arms, same parts. same parts #.

- Speaking of Jeeps (well, we were, weren't we?)....in Vietnam, there were 3 types of 'jeeps'. The normal kind we all think of was sort of scarce where I was. But there was another kind, that seemed about the same size, but 'flatter' (lower?)......
- Just an observation. Seems many Jeep builders have used the Italeri 1/24 kit. Do any of you use other sources. My favorite Jeep kits are 1/24 Hasegawa & 1/25 MPC/AMT. *NM*
- Lol, I've heard something similar about being young and stupid and possibly old and wise but now I'm just old. Lol *NM*
- Ya know Dave, looking again at that pic of the jeep with the hood off, that G.I. in Korea was pretty talented to make that radiator to fit a flathead. *NM*

- Current 'future' project right now is a proposed "bullet train" from Dallas to Houston. Opponents questioned whether enough folks will 'need' to ride that train to make it worthy, and some people don't want their land to go to the project.
- I'll bet you're right, Dave.....and thinking about those staff cars, it would be neat if a GOOD resin caster put out a '41 Ford Fordor. *NM*
