- O/T.........today is my 2 year anniversary from when I quit smoking. I smoked for 41 years and loved every minute of it. I still have dreams that I'm still smoking. Health reasons made me quit. I'm saving a TON of money !! *NM*
- Friday Evening Randomness..... ENJOY!!!! *PICS*
- Any of you guys ever have one of these? *NM* *PIC*
- I've got one...
- I had one when I was a kid, a long, long time ago. My dad worked at a Texaco truck stop, so naturally, his son had to have a Texaco station *NM*
- Don't recall if I had that station but had other Texaco toys because my Dad had stock in Texaco so..... *NM*
- I had a generic station, by Marx, that was similar to that. Played with it 'til it was practically nothing but dust! *NM*
- My last grail... but doubt that one is going to surface any time soon *NM*
- I had two of them one just like the one pictured and the other one I remember it had a curl ramp to get to the parking ramp on the second floor... HMMM maybe it was a city parking ramp, boy that one having hard time with that memory I just remember the curl. *NM*
- Got one! Off ebay many moons ago- Shawn Carpenter did cast replacement parts for it, and I have some of those. *NM*
- If Boomer was around, he would jump on this post and tell you all about when he was a "Texaco Man" . Always had something to add when the station or Buddy L Texaco fuel truck would show up in my Memories from the past photo's. RIP buddy. *NM*
- Not Texaco, but one from Sears, I think it was "Allstate" brand. *NM*
- Back to work... *PICS*

- COUPLE OF DAYS AGO... posted a 65 Chevelle AWB/SWB project. Well up on wheels and the rest of it just needing assembly. The only issue is color. PIC and thanks for looking
- Maybe it sounds strange but I can't see spending that much money to go to a model event. The longest drive I've taken is to NNL North in Minneapolis and that was five hours. I just can't see paying for plane tickets and hotel for a model show. Priorities I guess. :D *NM*
- I picked up a resin one online a couple years ago but I don't recall where it came from. I could look tonight when I get home to see if I have info on it. *NM*

- That is from Perry's Resin. I bought it at a DAAM show many years ago. I don't know if he is still casting. *NM*
- Piece of Evergreen strip styrene, say .020" square...replace the whole thing, sharper than before *NM*
- Don't need a base. I've sprayed over plastic (white, orange, black) & primer. Doesn't matter. BUT, nozzle & psi are NOT like other hobby sprays. Higher pressure--hold can a foot away and make very quick passes. *NM*
- I meant to ask first: As small as the models are, what do builders use to light up their models? *NM*
- I noticed in the Detroit coverage that some of the models have working lights. They look really cool when on display. If Round2 were to offer a light up kit for model cars, would any of you buy them? *NM*
- My photos from the DAAM Detroit Show *LINK*
- The trailer is in the picture. *NM*
- As I’ve said elsewhere, I hope to. *NM*
- There were a bunch of modern tool "Mueller era" kits, '41 Ford Woody, '55-57 Chevy Pickups, 57 Chevy Belair, 57 Chrysler 300, '58 Belvedere, '60 Chevy Pickup, '62 Bel Air and Impala, "66 Riviera, '70 1/2 Camaro and I'm probably forgetting some others. *NM*
- Hmm... That suggests the method for the '61 Chevy metal spear with a white stripe might be paint the body, then the stripe, then BMF it, then trim the outer and inner edges of the perimeter metal? That could give clean edges for both colors. Thanks for the idea! *NM*
- The 62 Thunderbird, 66 Olds 442, 67 Impala, are some. *NM*
- Uh, yeah.. I do have a name... gimmie a minute... (But seriously, who are these two guys?) *NM*
- Terrific pics and show coverage. Thanks for sharing! *NM*
