  • Well Boomer you still got it. The painter was Wally Jordan and he heated the enamel paint on a stove instead of using thinner. It was called Little Jewel a '30 Tudor

  • Yep, the 3 kits, Smoothster, Coupster & Vantastic all use the same chassis,suspension wheels etc with variations of the body & interiors, some Van & Coupe kits even had the wrong bodies instead......lol., very underated kits IMO. *NM*

          • Don’t know if I’ve ever seen MCW at NNL East (how I wish so I could get some of their paint). Now that they’ve moved further south, I don’t know if we’ll ever see them there. *NM*
          • MCW does accept Paypal and credit cards directly on their website now. They have just started casting again since the move so they are a bit behind with their orders. *NM*
            • I ordered a resin piece from them about 2 weeks ago, and their confirmation note said 4 to 6 weeks. We'll see, but I can wait. *NM*

    • Well being this was old Testor paint I decide to try the old staple "Wesley's Bleach White" or whatever it's called now a days... The expensive stuff I use for newer paints. I was so surprised this worked out so well. *NM*

        • Not sure because the rear spoiler was added after paint and you could see the blue tint from the glue blue paint line... If I take the spoiler off I don't know how the body will react to the sanded area. My thought was to paint it white w/ White Lightning over that. *NM*
          • I've got the same problem with mine. I thought about making the base of the spoiler a bit bigger, will probably just go with pearl white though *NM*
