- For those of you that like prostreet & drag cars. The AMT '67 Chevelle chassis fits lengthwise under the MPC SSlasher Chevelle body perfectly. The only problem is *PIC*

- Finished my latest build. Just in time for Saturdays show. It's a build of what I did with the 1970 Coronet 440 that I used to own after I was finished fixing it up. I took pics of the build next to my build of how my Coronet came from the factory. ..... *PICS* .....

- AMT's 1966 Oldsmobile 442 W-30, # 1432, pale blue/black roofed box art ....is this kit based on a new tool that came out around 2000?.....this kit has the separate frame & detailed suspension, etc. *NM*

- If you need the non-W30 bumper and get the convertible for that I think that the initial covertibles had the W30 bumper, too. I think they corrected it pretty soon in later editions. I do not know just when the change happened, though. *NM*
- That may have been the other way around. I had an early hardtop kit, and it had the convertible (non-W30) front bumper *NM*
- Nah, I get the Airfix magazine & they did a review of the latest AMT 66 Olds kit & as usual they got a few things wrong that they wouldn't if it was a military or plane kit, so I wanted to set them right.........lol. *NM*

- Re: I discontinued this hood around a year ago I am sorry to say. All of the hoods that I offer are slated to be discontinued as the molds drop off. They are dropping off fast now...what's left. *NM*

- Thank You Marty and thanks to all that liked my stuff. The real car is a 66 but in case you are not aware of it the 66 is a hard find and $ if you do. This is a 67 which in 1:1 was a Post/Sedan car. Fun build don't see very many of them on the tables. Thanks *NM*

- Thanks Marty for posting my stuff. The white car I had decals from Bruce which were a test shot but those exploded in the water. I had given up my extras to fill a few back orders Bruce had when he passed. STS has the design now and should be getting them soon hopefully.. *NM*
- When I started the burgundy car I didn't know how I was going to the fender well headers on a curbside, so I SG'd four tubes together drill 4 holes in the wheel well then I worked them around and the pipes took a natural curve/shape. Simple once I figured out a plan. *NM*
- Forgot to mention both those cars are curbside/no motor but I couldn't help myself I had to add headers. The chrome reverse I painted w/ Revell Chrome Paint, wheels are from AMT 62 Belair. *NM*

- I have bought 3 or 4 resins from them. About average. If they have something no one else has, I buy from them. *NM*
- They carry stuff from various companies so hard to really answer that without knowing the item(s) , the resin stock car bodies are well done but not like a Modelhaus level, the stock car tires and wheels sets they sell are very nicely done *NM*
- They carry resin parts and bodies from various suppliers beside their own products. I've bought there own products in the past. Most of them have been average. I have bought a couple of parts that have been a little below avg. I would buy from them again. *NM*

- Thanks, that sounds like it is worth a go. I’m not thinking of doing a rivet counter special, but more like horseshoes and hand grenades. I had mused about possibly using MPC Dodge 2wd stuff, but a quick check showed too many differences to work. I’m not a truck guy,

- For me, I would only want to build a van factory stock, so sacrificing a kit solely for the front suspension means I’m tossing the rest in the corner (not into 4X4 vans either). However, a 4X4 ‘66 and a 2wd ‘81 works for me… for example.

- Looks like the paint is lifting. Apparently the solvents in the clearcoat have gotten into the underlying paint *NM*

- Are there multiple coats of clear; if so, when was one applied relative to the next? He may have violated the "recoat window" *NM*

- I shoot Scale Finishes at 15 - 18 psi. Goes on fine. (I'd switch to lacquer.) *NM*
