  • Fun ride! Clean basic features. If the exhaust pipes are solder you could make the crossover into an X joint or have the rear 3 exhaust go to the passenger side and avoid your concern with any "rattling pipes" but it looks great the way it is so why bother? ;^) *NM*

  • Very cool little Mopar.... The VCG engine kits are extremely nice.... I have gotten all three of the slant sixes that they offer, plus the Ford and Chevy I-6 race engines. *NM*

• Is the Revell 1970 Charger based on the 67-69 Mopars, ie frame,suspension etc, that they have done or is it an ex Monogram tool ? *NM*
  • It's similar to their '68/'69 Charger. Both are 1/25 scale, unrelated to any of the older Monogram stuff *NM*
    • Duh!.....you'd think that would have answered my question if I'd noticed the scale...lol......thanks. *NM*

  • I like the repaint a whole lot. Hugger Orange was too bright for a big car like that, the darker shade pops but has a bit o' class. *NM*

    • Yep. The wheels, tires, frame inner bed, engine, inner fenders, suspension, shifter, radiator, grille and likely a few other parts. Oh and the whole little bike are all printed *NM*

    • Yes, it is Testors Nassau blue metallic auto lacquer system. One of the discontinued colors from Testors. I have found it in a certain big chain store recently (last year) though. *NM*

• Here in Oz when 2dr cars were not the norm & 4drs much more common I don't mind the 4dr Cuda, the side profile seems o/k tho' the rear pillar in a 3/4 front pic looks too thin, my oz 1.5 cents worth = 2 US cents worth. *NM*

• I love a nice mild custom as well as the radical stuff like my Thunderbird.... A simple nosing and decking, along with shaving the emblems can go a long way to in improving a cars appearance.... *PIC*

  • I agree Marty, I tend to do a lot of models like that too. ,, and you're Merc looked great. What I was refering to was the ones that still had all the stock trim, maybe even stock paint and just a set of mags. I don't consider that a "custom". *NM*
